The WFU Campus/Community Bike Ride is intended to increase bicycle awareness on and off-campus, and to draw attention to the need for improved bicycle and pedestrian corridors between WFU and downtown Winston-Salem. Our trip is a 10-mile loop, beginning at the ZSR Library, with a stop for free gelato at Caffe Prada, and then returning to the WFU campus. This is a slow-paced ride, open to WFU students, faculty, and staff, as well as to community members. Extensive experience cycling is not required, and families are welcome. A free water-bottle will be given to the first 25 participants who register. Bicycle helmets are required.
