October 3 * 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We will not gather on Monday afternoon, October 1. Rather, we hope that you will join us for the Physics Colloquium on Wednesday, October 3 at 4:00 pm in the George P. William, Jr. Lecture Hall (Olin 101).
Dr. Lauren Lowman, Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering and CEES Affiliate, will deliver her presentation “Adaptive Modeling of Vegetation Green-up and Die-off Responses to Extreme Weather.”
Dr. Lowman’s talk will discuss applications of the hydrology-phenology framework to assess the impacts of wildfires on the Southeast U.S. carbon budget.
